賴志剛自少投身創作工作，不斷探索在傳統及當代不同視覺藝術媒介的表現可行性，應用在藝術教育工作。2008年退出全職美術教學工作後，全情投入藝術創作生涯。賴氏作品自1985開始入選香港當代雙年展多次，作品亦曾在香港，中國，日本，英國多次聯展中展出。作品獲世界各地私人收藏。賴志剛除了應用不同媒體創作外，亦專注研究陶藝造型和配釉創作，嘗試利用拉坯結合人物雕塑造型展示人與陶土的對話。
Alan has devoted himself in creating art and design since student age in school. He tries to explore every expressive possiblities through various media in making his own art as well as his art education career. After retire from full time Art teacher in 2008, he still works in creating art pieces. Alan's work has selected in the Hong Kong biannual art Exhibitions since 1985 and his works are shown in many group exhibitions in Hong Kong, China, Japan and England. His work were collected privately in some countries. Other than creating with differenct medis, Alan focus on creating ceramics and glaze making. He tends to combine the wheel throwing and human figure sculpture to present the relation between clay and human.
